This old cabinet radio has always been in my family. Bought by my
grandparents in 1930, it was made in Montréal, Canada, although the same
model was also made in Camden, N.J., U.S.A.
A few years ago, I managed to get myself a full set of spare tubes, and
seven out of the eight were genuine RCA's (new in box) when I got them
from my supplier! This has allowed me to put aside the older ones.
Thanks to the good folks at the rec.antiques.radio+phono
newsgroup for the technical information below.
